Here is a screen capture of a website that i frequent for parts on my Infiniti G35 coupe. This is my good friends shop that is local to us here in Tempe that i have supported for the past 4 years.
With the layout of this webpage i have noticed:
Connection of the grouping of the various parts listed below the main picture of the orange G35. These images are identical in size and are grouped together. With these pictures being identical it illustrates a sense of duplication among these parts. As these images are bunched together, they create a sense of vertical flow as they are in 3 vertical rows flowing down as one customer may flow down along the site.
Now with analyzing this webpage we can fit it under the criteria of the CRAP principles
Contrast: the contrast is identifiable between the background page having a dark color with the text among the page being white to show for easy contrast and visibility of these sections to allow for the customer to search around the site without difficulty reading what is presented.
Repetition: The repetition is noticed under each of the parts images having the same font size being underlined to click on the links and showing the prices in green to make emphasis for it to be easily distinguishable to know what the price is which is something a customer like myself enjoys.
Alignment: The alignment for this webpage is set-up the parts centered moving down vertically, the different categories are listed on the top-left side flowing down vertically with the very top of the page listing different vehicles to search by that flow from left to right.
Proximity: In regards mentioned in the alignment section, these categories and images are all spaced evenly with them being split between each other by bold white lines surrounding each parts image and link.
